It's Almost Time for . . . Christmas! Is a keeper for holiday fun. The rhyming text is engaging and smooth. The illustrations are fun and festive. The illustrations add more to the story because you start to notice that the boy has a stuffed rabbit that is quite lively in participating in the holiday fun, just not in the right way. There is an unexpected reveal on Christmas Day that I burst into laughter upon seeing, especially the cat's reluctant participation in the joyful rabbit’s surprise. Overall, this funny book is being added to the family library to enjoy each year.
