It’s Halloween time and the Peanuts are getting ready by doing all their favorite things and traditions. Linus has a unique one and it’s writing a letter to The Great Pumpkin asking for lots of presents. While everyone else is out trick or treating, Linus awaits the arrival of The Great Pumpkin. Nobody else believes he exists but Sally joins Linus in his waiting. The only question is is he going to show this year?

IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN is a classic from my childhood and I’m so happy to share it with my daughter. The illustrations are so much more vivid in this one compared to when I used to watch it on tv. I love how the cover feels sturdy and fancy. Fall is a big deal in my household so this was a necessity I didn't realize I needed.


Final Verdict: Not only is this book perfect for Charlie Brown fans, it's also a great addition to family Halloween traditions. This is a classic that I'm happy to see stick around. With it's friendship themes and Halloween fun, it's perfect for children who love a little trick with their treats.
