Open up for a tale of cute chaos and comfort, featuring one Little Lion who won't get out of bed and Papa Lion's increasingly elaborate activities to try and coax him from the covers. Breakfast in bed escalates to birthday parties and recreations of dazzling New York City lights, but while the house is bursting with fun, at the end of the day it turns out that all Little Lion needs is a good cozy cuddle.
This story is absolutely adorable, and reading it feels like a big warm hug. The lions are so colorful and cute, and it's fun to see the once empty house fill up with all of Papa's enthusiastic guests. Be sure to keep your reading glasses handy, as the text is on the smaller side, and might blend in with everything else that's happening on page.
Pick this up for a tale of persistent encouragement, with both bustling illustrations for fans of Richard Scarry and a silly, building chaos reminiscent of King Bidgood's in the Bathtub.
