LITTLE CHICK is a cute touch-and-feel board book. Little Chick is trying to find somewhere dry before it rains. As she searches, she encounters other animals who are unable to help. Luckily, Little Chick finds her safe, dry place by the end of the book.

What I loved: This is a really cute book and story. The rhyming text gives it a great rhythm and flow when read aloud, and with only a few lines on each page, it moves quickly. This works well for the littlest readers. Each page features a texture for little ones to feel on the animals, which is great for developing little fingers. The textures are all well-adhered into the book and give plenty of space for exploration.

Adorable images help to keep attention on the story. Clear and easy to read font makes this easy to read aloud, even in low light situations at bedtime. The ending is highly satisfying and comforting, which also works well for young toddlers.

Final verdict: LITTLE CHICK is a cute, interactive board book with a sweet story and interesting textures to explore. This works well for older infants and young toddlers.
