LITTLE DINO BOO-BOOS is a delightfully interactive board book. The book tells brief stories with a rhyming pattern before telling children how to help the dinosaur feel better, using stickers in a first aid kit at the back. For instance, they help to give a hot water bottle (and feel better sticker) to a stegosaurus with a tummy ache from being too much party food.

What I loved: This is a clever and fun story that helps introduce the concept of aches and helping with adorable dinosaurs. The illustrations are full of color and details, and the dinos are so expressive to convey how they are feeling. The sticker activity is really great and interactive for toddlers, who will enjoy moving around the stickers. They are reusable, so they will work for multiple uses - I was impressed with how many times they go back and forth (though they won't stick to skin or furniture, only pages - which is also appreciated!). There is a place for the stickers in the fold-out "first aid kit" in the back of the book, so they can help the dinosaurs multiple times.

The rhyming text flows smoothly and each little story feels complete with only a few lines leading to the injury that children are helping with, including things like bee stings, sore throat, aching wing, and more. The length of the book is great for toddlers and preschoolers, as there is a bit of text on each page spread - plus a dinosaur to help on each!
