MAKE TRACKS: GREAT OUTDOORS is a fun, interactive board book. This book features four tracks for summertime outdoor activities - a pony, bike, canoe, and hiking. Each page spread features a labeled image of the key parts/supplies with a facing page of a track that a cardboard coin can move along. There are a few questions around the track, inviting children to count or use their other skills along the way.

What I loved: This is a great book for developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Children will use their fingers to move the cardboard coin along the set tracks of the book, around curves and corners. They are also invited to learn in other ways appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers, such as by counting things in the scenes or naming other items in the images. The illustrations are full of colors and details throughout with plenty to visually explore. The labels on the items are also great for early word recognition.
