Mr Crump is known as a grump around town. He is always impatient and mean, especially to children. But one Halloween could change everything. What if he isn't such a grump after all?
What I Liked: It does say but i can definitely see the Tim Burton inspiration in the artwork. As a big fan and of Halloween, this would have been a great book for me as a kid. The story is easy to follow and younger kids will enjoy it. It shows them that not everyone is who they seem and that people can change.
What Left Me Wanting More: I would have liked a little more on Mr Crump and his life before the events of Halloween. I don't think we know a lot about him so the change is a little abrupt.
Final Verdict: An interesting and heartwarming tale for kids. Fans of spooky stories would enjoy it.
