My First Milestones: Ready to Walk takes you through the steps that are required to start walking. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.
What I Liked: The little girl in this story is learning how to walk, and who better to catch her when she falls than her dad? Throughout the book, you watch as the little girl goes through each step to show you just how she gets ready to walk. It's fascinating to see how the simple process of walking is broken down into three steps and how important each step is to the process. As an adult, you don’t think twice about walking, but this book reminds you how babies view this process and how complicated this task is for them to grasp. This book does a fantastic job of outlining the process and highlighting that there is someone there to catch you if at first you don’t succeed.
Final Verdict: My First Milestones: Ready to Walk is a fun book to read with children ages 0 and up, especially those who are trying to get those first steps in. You’ll laugh as the baby learns to walk, and now it's time for her to run, as this is a relatable moment for most parents.
