NO, NANCY, NO! is a hilarious interactive picture book.

When Nancy and her best friend Roger, a loveable dachshund, go to see a musical at a famous theater in New York City, chaos ensues. Nancy and Roger must chase down the star of the show, Candy, a black poodle, and save the production before that evening.

Nancy and Roger's fun adventure is both humorous and exciting, with pop-ups and lift-the-flaps throughout the book that will capture kids' attention. The book is full of vibrant, full-page illustrations, with activity in the background of each scene. I would recommend this book for anyone over the age of four, who will be able to appreciate the illustrations and pop-ups more fully.

Nancy is a quirky character, who ends up saving the musical and the star of the show, Candy. She and Roger find themselves in bizarre situations, and must even rescue Candy from the top of the Statue of Liberty.

Kids will gasp and laugh along with Nancy and her friend Roger, and feel as if they are on the adventure themselves. I can't recommend this fun, lighthearted book enough.
