I havent read any witch books in a while so Revealers was a good breakthrough.

I really enjoyed the writing. It was refreshing and didnt have all those really long boring details. It was to the point which is the kind of writing I love best. I like how it doesnt dawdle and goes around in circular motions but instead, like I said, it goes straight to the point.

Besides the writing style, I really liked the plot. Though I didnt consider original or unique, it was still a very entertaining plot which kept me hooked up to the end.

There were some parts of the book that I considered childish. For example, the part where the girls cry out reveal! to reveal the nightmares or monsters was extremely childish and very annoying after a while.

The summary had said that Juless friends are getting completely freaked out, however, when I was done, I noticed that they didnt really freak out. I mean, they were scared and couldnt spill the secrets but they definitely didnt completely freak out. I felt like the summary exaggerated way too much and I had expected more of a &freak out from the girls.

Jules is the oh-so-typical girl hero. Seriously. She has the courage, the strength, the wits to defeat whatever she needed defeating. I felt like there was nothing different about her from the average heroes and definitely wished that something couldve been added.

Okay, I hated Connor. At first, I thought he was sweet but as the plot went on, I really wanted to stab him. Hes such a jerk. He lies, he steals, he sweet-talks, etc. etc. The list can go on. At the end though, he redeems himself and I almost felt sorry for him. Almost.

The ending was also a very typical good-beats-evil sort of ending. It was very easily predicted and I wished there were more of some surprise element in it. Sadly, there werent.

Overall, read Revealers if you wish to be entertained but be prepared to hate Connor. I have warned you.

From the start of this story you are thrown right into Jules's life. One that I don't think I would really like - being woken up at 2 AM to go take down a werewolf/demon/ghost...just whatever happens to be lurking the streets that night. Only to have to wake up a few hours later and face high school. So who could really blame her when she starts asking a lot of questions, ones that as I read, I was asking myself.

The other girls and Jules's friends are ones that are easily catchy as well. You might even be able to relate some of your friends to them. Even the leader who is a major bleep sometimes I had to love here and there. You can immediately tell through the dialogue what attitudes they hold. Although I do wish Marrone would write a little less dialogue and more descriptive writing here and there.

Now I don't want to do any major spoilers, which is hard to do considering what happens when the plot starts rolling. But all the things that are going on in the coven - the things that the girls don't find out until their eighteen birthday had me going woah wait, what?! Once you hit the middle of this book, you better stay on your toes. There are twists and turns that I didn't predict coming and I was pleasantly surprised!

This might just be me, but since I read her last book Uninvited not too long ago with the main character being named Michael - seeing the exact name repeated in this book threw me off. I kept thinking of the other Michael instead of the one in this book. But all in all it was a good read, so go check it out!

Revealers is about Jules, the rebellious witch of the coven. All her life her mom has been hiding a secret from her. The witches of the coven find out when they turn 18. As Jules's friends turn 18, Jules realized that the terrible secret must be put to an end.

I wish I could have enjoyed it more. Revealers had the potential to be an amazing book, but it fell short. Revealers had great characters. I loved Jules and all of the minor characters. There was something intriguing about Connor, and the other witches in the coven were also appealing. The coven was also a great idea.

My dislike about the novel was that it felt rushed. When I read the first few pages, I was completely confused. The reader is immediately introduced to several characters and what the witches do. While the rushed feeling continued, the confusion did not. I was able to figure out what was going through the rest of the novel.

Even though, I did not particularly like Revealers, Id still like to read other books about Jules and her friends or the coven. Its a shame Revealers did not go into as much depth as I would have liked. It would have made the novel more entertaining.

I enjoyed reading a paranormal book that wasn't about vampires or faeries which seem to be what's popular nowadays. I'm a Sabrina the Teenage Witch fan, so it was fun reading about witches for once. I also like that the girls already had their powers and it wasn't about a girl suddenly discovering she had powers and how to deal. I like that the action could start right away. The only problem I had was a small contradiction (or rather an exception, perhaps, that wasn't fully explained). Also, one character doesn't really fight for themselves in the end and I wasn't sure why (I have my theories but I'm leaving this spoiler free).

Revealers is the story of a group of young revealer witches. In addition to troubles with grades, boys, and fighting amongst themselves, they also have to deal with a night job: slaying vampires, werewolves, and ghosts.

I thought this book was fairly good. I enjoyed the plot and subject matter. However, some of the characters made questionable choices. Overall, the book was an enjoyable read.

These witches are unlike many in literature. Jules and her friends use their powers to kill monsters which threaten humans. Werewolves, ghosts, vampires...you name it and they've dealt with it. Jules and her friends are pretty content with their lives. Jules begins a romantic tryst with the coven leader's son, Connor while the other girls' navigate their own paths.

Except then the girls' initation begins to approach. One by one, as they reach their 18th birthday, the girls' are initiated. And after their initation, none of the girls are the same again. Jules, the youngest, can't make any of her friends tell her anything. But Jules knows that she has to do something-anything- to save her friends, her mother and herself.

I wish the book was longer. Seriously, if only it had been. It had alot of promise but there wasn't enough space in the short 288 pages to develop the plot and characters as much as I'd have liked. The concept of the book was interesting. Not completely original but it did have it's own points.

Jules and Connor's relationship should have been developed better. Not to mention that I found Connor himself to be...kind of...boring. And,Connor's friend, Michael could have played a much larger role, instead of sitting around and waiting for a sentence or two.

I liked reading about the relationship between Jules and her fellow coven members. Their relationships were realistic. There was no perfect, ideal BFF FOREVER! friendship going on, which I liked. Lots of friendships portrayed in books are a bit too unrealistic.

Finally, I loved the plot twist, I just wished it had been delved into more. I won't say anything else about it though because it'll spoil it for you. Anyways, if you ever see this lying around at the library or in a bargain books section, pick it up!

Jules and her friends aren't your normal witches. They may ride on brooms and cast spells, but they're just a group of teenage girls who run around killing demons, vampires, werewolves and other magical creatures in town. They're just doing what they have been for centuries to keep people safe.

But when the oldest girl gets initiated into the inner circle of the coven, Jules can tell that there's something important they're not telling the rest of them. Jules begins to suspect that they're not really killing all these creatures for the benefit of the town.

Warning: This book has a metallic cover...what does that mean? It means that it's about three hundred percent awesome just for that.

Revealers is a new view on witches that fantasy lovers would enjoy. The story had a fast pace and was easy to read, meaning there were no slow/boring parts. The unpredictable ending and relateable main character made this book an enjoyable read, even for people who do not usually read fantasy.

Revealers would make a great gift for fantasy lovers.

Jules and her good friends Dani, Sascha, Zahara, and Margo arent just your ordinary clique of teenagers; they belong to a coven of Revealer witches and have the power to make certain supernatural creatures reveal themselves so that these dangerous beasts can be destroyed. But at the age of eighteen, each girl is initiated into the covens inner circle. But this ceremony isnt all that its cracked up to be, at least, it seems this ways to Jules after having watched three of her friends come out changedand not for the better. It turns out that theres a big secret the mothers of these young witches have kept from their daughters, a secret that could tear the world as they know it apart. Its something that if they dont follow to the tiniest detail, one of them could be lostforever.

Revealers is a fast-paced and interesting story about supernatural beings such as witches, werewolves, vampires, ghosts, and demons. The story started off strong, because I was intrigued by the covens duty to destroy all the dangerous supernatural creaturesbasically everything that isnt human except for themselves. I found myself becoming skeptical about the origins of the covens strange traditions, as Jules did during the story, but I did not like the lack of details when the big secret was revealed. The secret itself was not the issue, but the fact that people could actually agree to its conditions blew my mind. Also, the solution to this problem was a bit unrealistic as the secret was; it came way too easily. I would think that after such a horrific secret, fixing it would be a little harder than it was in this story. Despite the slightly disappointing ending, Revealers was an quick and enjoyable story with action, magic, and a touch of romance.

Revealers was good, but I definitely would not consider it anywhere near great. I recommend this for fans of the supernatural, especially teen girls who like books about magic.
