One small girl can have BIG feelings, in this hilarious and reassuring picture book about how tough it can be being – and having – a toddler, from bestselling duo Timothy Knapman and Joe Berger.

Life is all fun and games when everything's going your way. But some days, suddenly, something becomes horribly UNFAIR. A melting ice cream cone, a too-tight T-shirt, a boy who doesn't share... it's enough to make you FURIOUS. But as this little girl discovers, it's nothing that a deep breath, a happy song, and a good cuddle can't sort out.

You won't be furious reading this funny, friendly, and relatable book for young children (and their parents) about strong emotions and how to handle them.

Sometimes I Am Furious is a brightly illustrated picture book that depicts a young girl and how she learns to deal with her big emotions. It's easy to get angry when people take your toys or you don't get your way, but the little girl's grandma teaches her how to deal with those frustrations.

What I Liked: The book is a fantastic teaching tool of what angry emotions can look like and ways to calm those emotions down. The illustrations also help to show examples of what being furious looks like. They show the little girl frowning, screaming, and having "angry" eyebrows. The rhyming pattern of the book is engaging and keeps a young readers attention.
