What a sad story. What a powerful writer who had no future. This describes Holocaust victim Anne Frank, the youngest in a set of two girls. I thought the diary was the greatest thing she ever wrote, yet the things that I didn't like were her criticism of her mother's faults and her obsessive relationship with Peter. I mean, every tennage girl feels distant from her mother at one point and close to her father, but I wished that she didn't see that her father was also constructive in a fiercer way. When I read about her relationship with Peter I felt kind of annoyed because he's the same age as her sister and she tried to help him overcome his quietness, which he never had a chance to fight. But aside from that, I was furious that Hitler even thought of killing Jews because it killed on of the youngest writers whose talent was writing and expressing every teenage girls' feelings.
