This is the reality of the Holocaust. People say this is the best book written on the Holocaust and they are exactly right. I, myself, am not Jewish, but you don't need to be Jewish to sympathize with Anne and her plight. Imagine hiding in an annex for two years! There were many memorable and touching parts. This is a book that I will never forget. I first read this in eighth grade and plan to read it again. This is something both teenagers and adults should read! They will enjoy it and want to find out more able this hopeful girl who lived a very short life. I cried at some parts, especially at the end and the epilogue that followed. Read the book and watch the movie--you won't regret it!
