When the current witch dies, a house starts to fall apart without an owner. So the house sets off to find a new witch. He travels all over, with help from other magical beings, to find the right witch for him. Will he find her?
What I Liked: This was a great story. There are elements of older tales such as Baba Yaga, but with a modern twist. The idea of a home needing the occupant as much as someone needs a home is a nice idea. The illustrations were detailed and fun to look at. I love the witch transforming into a tree at the beginning.
What Left Me Wanting More: I think i would have like to see more of the interior of the house, everything is from a distance, but otherwise i really enjoyed this book.
Final Verdict: A fun and charming read for kids who love stories that are a little bit different and who love magic. Highly recommended.
