Vampire Jam Sandwich has become a favorite around here! Casey Lyall, in very few words, is able to weave a compelling, and silly, story about a "Vampire" named Terrence.

With its spooky story told over a campfire vibe, the legend of the Vampire Jam Sandwich details what happens when a vampire takes one bite of a jam sandwich. “And of course, you know what a bite from a vampire means,” author Casey Lyall writes.
The story isn't all together scary, but rather campy fun.

The dark pallete and art style lends itself well to the slightly macabre story and the narrator.

Simple enough for a kiddo to read themselves, but it can also be a read-aloud and especially would work great as a story-time book.
This eccentric picture book will delight readers of any age!
