In this super fun and relatable story, Minimoni asks a big question - what is love? People describe it as lots of different things, and although it seems confusing at first, she soon realizes all the many ways she gives and receives love everyday. The simple narrative affirms the power of love for animals, people, and the world around us.

Like many kids, Minimoni is a bit of a literal thinker. Combine that with an active imagination, and that makes for some interesting scenarios. What if love is something you really like, like spaghetti? Or saving people, like a super hero? I love the large text and words that dance around and across the illlustrations, which give everything a playful feeling, even while the meaning is very sincere.

While there is a dragon on the cover, it only shows up once or twice, as one of many things in Minimoni's imagination (or perhaps it is real afterall?). I'd say this is more a story about "real" things - like bedtime stories, walking the dog, and messy cupboards.
