WHAT'S THAT NOISE? MEOW! is a fun, interactive lift-the-flap board book. Each page features a silver button that children can press to hear the sound of an animal. They can then lift the flap to see which animal is making the noise. This book features pet-type animals, including a mouse, cat, dog, and fish. The last page includes a baby giggling - the noise is the reader, complete with a mirror.

What I loved: This is a really fun concept that works perfectly for children who love to touch and listen to books. They can easily find and press the little silver buttons to hear the sounds, and lift the oversized flaps to see the animal who would be making that sound. A particular favorite in our house is the fish with the bubble sounds! The illustrations are adorable with lots of color and smiling faces that will appeal to the youngest readers.

The noises are perfect for children who love to explore sound. The back of the book includes an on/off button that is easy to use. The book also uses 2 AAA batteries, which is so handy if you have a child who loves to hear the sounds - these are much easier to replace than button batteries.

What left me wanting more: While kids will love it, the mouse squeaking sound may not appeal as much to some caregivers who are also reading the book. There is also no volume control on the book, but it is not too loud.

Final verdict: WHAT'S THAT NOISE? MEOW! is a fun lift-the-flap board book for children who love to hear different sounds and read hands-on. Recommend for young toddlers.
