When I Visit the Farm

Come along for a visit to the farm where we'll meet many animal friends, breathe in the fresh clear air and find wide-open spaces where we can play...and dream. Whimsical illustrations come alive with color and texture to complement simple, joyful text. From the lamb's nuzzle to the cow's morning greeting, from the horse's velvety nose to the ducklings' playful quacks, the barnyard is brimming with possibilities to explore. Acclaimed Ontario artist Crystal Beshara was the youngest member to be elected into the Ottawa Watercolour Society and was named one of Ottawa's top three emerging artists by the Ottawa School of Art. She infuses these idyllic scenes with a sense of wonder and whimsy, drawing inspiration from her daughter's discoveries and reactions when visiting farms.
