Come along for a visit to the farm where we'll meet many animal friends, breathe in the fresh clear air and find wide-open spaces where we can play...and dream. When I Visit the Farm is the story of a little girls carefree adventure on the farm, where she spends her day petting the warm, velvety fur of various farm animals, and discovering just what cool grass feels like between her bare toes. She also plays with little gray ducklings, and snuggles with tiny golden chicks that look as if they want to ask, Are you my mother?
When I Visit the Farm, by author/illustrator Crystal Beshara, is a very short book. Only 154 words, to be exact. Yet those few words paired with Besharas powerful nature drawings, conjures up the biggest slice of nostalgia you ever saw.

This is a quiet book with a Norman-Rockwell feel. It is perfect for your childs lap time or nap time, and is sure to conjure up feelings of nostalgia and yester-year in your own grown-up heart.
