Worm want to make you a sandwich, but how can he? He's too small and doesn't have any arms, but there is one way he can help. Worms help feed gardens and this book is a celebration how nature works together in a way to make things like vegetables grow.

WORM MAKES A SANDWICH teaches children about clean gardening and all about compost from the point of view of a worm. The worm's narration adds a lot of humor to the book that will bring a smile to a child's face while they learn more about compost. The adorable watercolor illustrations match the cute storyline. In the back of the book, there's a section that teaches what composting is, how to compost, and why you should compost. I love how each item, like the garbage, is labeled so children know what everything is. It also adds to the educational value.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this to children aged four and older who enjoyed gardening and bugs. It's the perfect gift to inspire young gardeners and environmentalists.
