What I liked: This book showcases various family makeups such as one parent, two dads, two moms, grandparents, and more. Within the diversity of family makeups, this book also showcases the diversity of racial/ethnic background, gender, and people with disabilities. The soft illustrations throughout the book feel like an uplifting and welcoming hug as the message of embracing oneself and your family is highlighted throughout the story.
