In You Make the World, you’ll follow a father and his child on an adventure. The father tells his child that his energy and emotions are as beautiful as things in the world.

What I Liked: This book does a great job of highlighting how strong emotions can have beauty in them and how we should encourage children to show those emotions in healthy manners. By letting his child know that he finds beauty in those strong emotions and how they compare with the natural beauty of the world, the father in this book is letting his child know how impactful those emotions can be.

The illustrations throughout this book highlight much of the beauty in the world and how those things in nature compare to a child’s energy and their strong emotions. The illustrations do a great job of capturing the beauty in the day to day when we take a moment to appreciate the nature that surrounds us.

Final Verdict: You Make The World is a beautiful and imaginative book that captures the beauty of the natural world and compares it with a child’s energy and emotions. Children ages 4 and up will enjoy listening to this story as they recognize some of the beautiful things in nature, and get reminded that strong emotions are a part of the day to day of life.
