Meet Babar and His Family is a 5-star quality book. The children are great examples for today's kids. Parents may not want to buy books that are old, but this is a gem that baby-sitters can share.
Babar's family: himself, his wife, Queen Celeste, and his children, Pom, Flora, and Alexander are great. They are not royal brats. They do lots of fun stuff and are very hands on. You'll see their chores and hobbies throughout the seasons. This book has images of loyal and good children.
I recommend Meet Babar and His Family for ages 4 and up.
