This was a great book. Easy to read and also had a great story line behind it. I think the person who worte this is a genius. Shows a teenage point of view of life.

Book was emotional in a good way . IT made me fell good about myself.

couldnt put the book down

well 1st of all like many of the other reveiws on this site i had to read this book.. but i liked it alot unlike many people in my english class. im in yea 10 this year, im 15 and my family life isnt what you would call the best so for me could really relate to this book because althouogh it is made up it is really realaistic for people around Carl's age because we all go through rough patches.. just Carl's was alot worse. so i agree with what alot of other people are saying.. it is a really good book and you need to read it with an open mind other wise it wont sound as good. i have become really into alot of Jmes Molloney's books (i had to read "Lockie Lenard" last year) and well done to you because you made me fell as though there was someone else who knows what their talkig about.. elle

Wow it started with a bang. This book I loved. It was so interesting and every page kept me enthralled hence I never wanted to put it down. But the interesting thing is I hate reading until I read his book.

I got this book as another boring English assignment but luckily I was wrong. The book had uprising issues that teenagers faced everyday. James Moloney hit the nail on the head with this book. I rate it 4 out of 5! It is a MUST read.

when first reading this book i was stunned. i found it had mixed emotions. however once studying the book i found it mind blowing at how detailed the plot is. a lot of writing techniques are shown within the book. eg pg75/76 i found up to 20 different techniques used. from similes to metaphors to imagerary and heavy decriptive paragraphs. slang right the way throught to formal language. over all it was a fantastic read.

A Bridge to Wiseman's Cove was a great book as it demonstrates alot oF different issues. Carl saves the red barge, whilst he learns about himself. Releasing the Osprey was the best part as he learnt that he is very simular to the bird, hurt/wounded needs healing, seeing the Osprey free and allowed to be free makes him feel alive whilst sharing emotions with bird.

The book was great!!!There should be A Bridge to Wiseman's Cove 2!!

i think that this book was put out to target those who have lost their loved ones or that their loved one has abandoned them. This book is alright FOR THOSE WHO LIKE THE BOOK and even if you dnt you can try to be commited to reading because you may need it for years to come.......

I thought that this was a fantastic book and whoever wrote that terrible comment obviously didnt understand the concept. It was a book about feeling, it was unisex so anybody could read it and be interested and I think that I would definitely reccomend this book to anyone who likes a good, realistic and relating story. It is about a boy called Carl who's mother runs away. He has a brother called Harley and a sister called Sara who also ran away because she didnt want to look after her brothers for the rest of her life.

Carl tackles some moving issues that if you thought about it, you wouldnt want to be in his shoes and I mean ever. At the start his life is a mess but he gets through some pretty tough times with a curse upon his entire family that his grandfather started but obviousy never ended. READ IT!

I have recently had to read a bridge to Wiseman's cove for enlgish at school. With all the books i've had to read for english assignments i was pleasantly surpirsed when i was reading A.B.T.W.C. I was hooked from the first page, with a mysterious starting and a dramatic ending i thought this was a great read. I myself don't read anything much other than fantasy and for me to enjoy this was a big thing. I finished it in about 2 days ( just wanting to be able to start the questions) I liked this book because it wasn't like a usual teenage book, it made you think about people and families in a not so cheesy way. For my assignment i have to do 2 essays some creative tasks and chapter questions. I feel however that i want to write these essays because i have so much to say about this book.
i thought a bridge to wiseman's cove was a great and worthwhile read
