What's better than a birthday? A surprise birthday with friends! One by one, Mouse makes sure all of his friends are ready to celebrate Ada's big day.
Each of the animals starts as a shape in the dark, and it's fun to guess / learn which one will be an elephant, or tiger, or another animal friend. All of the pages match the cover's color palette, i.e. a little dark, so make sure you've got plenty of light to read this story with little ones. (Extra fun, get a flashlight to match Mouse!)
