My children love reading this book!
Instead of being read like a traditional book, the book is read sideways, as to give the reader perception of the divers journey down to the deep night ocean.
Fun facts about different sea creatures are hidden under pop up flaps, cleverly placed through these beautiful mixed-media illustrations. The colors are mostly blacks, whites, yellows with a few colors added in when needed, creating underwater magic.
Easily read aloud, this book makes for a fun time exploring the oceans depths.
This was a good resource for a beginner ocean study, as well as for leisure reading.
