I like how Coco Simon brought back characters we know and love from 'The Cupcake Diaries' in this new book! This book is filled with fun and relatable moments. Emily learns to overcome her anxieties about making new friends and discovers her unique baking style, showing that it's okay to be different from your family. The story also touches on important themes like divorce and blended families in an age-appropriate way.

The larger font size enhances readability, while the numerous illustrations throughout the chapters make the reading experience more engaging. The eye-catching cover, adorned with glittery and colorful cupcakes, is highly enticing, and I wish the inside pictures were in color to match the vibrant cover.
