Three kids and a dog go on a walk, looking for fairies in the woods. Maybe the fairies are too shy to play, but they find a whole different adventure in the splish-splashy puddles, green leaves, and creatures hiding under rocks.

This is a great read for a drizzly afternoon, either to keep everyone entertained while indoors or get them excited to step out and find fun among drippy trees and puddles. There's minimal text, and lots of images and sounds that are immersive and engaging.

The little fairies hidden throughout are a fun look-and-find, and although the characters don't see the fairies themselves, they still had a good time exploring nature, and we can hope they'll see the fairies another day.
