“How Do You Jew?” by Suzy Ultman is a celebration of Jews around the world. The book encourages readers to understand that there are so many different ways in which to be Jewish. The illustrations are sweet and easily accessible for young readers, culminating with a final page that asks, “How do you Jew?” This allows readers to think about their own ways of being Jewish and how to possibly incorporate new traditions into their observance.
