Two utterly adorable ghosts prove the power of positive friendship in this funny, heartfelt story of a grump and a smiley friend. Big ghostie is NOT in a good mood and declares that he absolutely hates everything. Little ghostie is taken aback, because surely he doesn't hate tasty sweets, or doing fun things? Maybe big ghostie just needs some quiet encouragement to remember he actually likes quite a lot of things.
To anyone with a toddler, or that cranky voice in their head after a long day, these two ghosties are 100% relatable. Life can be overwhelming, and it's important to have the space to vent frustration as well as to have someone around to nudge us back toward all the good there is to be found, even the very little things like sugary treats or puppies or a nice bit of sunshine.
Bold, vibrant illustrations with minimal text make this a great book for early readers and one to be loved over and over again.
