LET'S GO HOME, BABY BUNNY is a cute and interactive board book. Each page asks the reader to help them get a baby animal home using the tracks on the page. On the left side of the page spread, the book calls out specific features that they can find in the scene on the righthand side.
What I loved: This is a simple concept but so much fun! The interactive nature of the book, being able to move the baby animal along the track, really makes this a fun experience for toddlers and preschoolers. Older little ones will also enjoy searching for the animals and plants that are called out on the lefthand side of the page spread in the detailed scenes around the tracks. The tracks themselves are very clever, as the animals appear on a coin-like piece of cardboard that is trapped within the tracks, so that they cannot be lost and are great for on-the-go. Little fingers can easily move them around, and they help with early coordination when moved with a finger.
What left me wanting more: As a small thing, there is very little to do once the animals go home, as there are not really other features for them to head towards (and once you have done it, you'll need to reset the coins to be able to head for home again). That being said, they are lots of fun just to cruise around the tracks.
Final verdict: LET'S GO HOME, BABY BUNNY is a cute, interactive board book that little readers will enjoy. Recommend for toddlers and young preschoolers.
