When a little doodle bird explores her love of art, she realizes she's unsure how she came to be, but she loves to examine her surroundings as she looks for inspiration. The only thing is she's the only one of her kind which makes for a lonely life. One day, she spots an iguana that gets sucked into a vacuum and risks her life to save it. All she wants is a friend and this iguana may be the answer.
LONELY BIRD is a heartwarming story about a paper bird trying brave the world to save a new friend. It's very unique and explores the imagination of a child and how they may view what the bird can do. Children have imaginations that will take them almost anywhere and this is a great rendition of that feeling. It shows how children may perceive their drawings and why they're reluctant to throw any out, at least my seven-year-old is.
Final Verdict: I would recommend this to children aged four and up who enjoy art, especially doodling. It will also stimulate a child's imagination with our little doodle bird as the main character.
