I have loved this book for years.  It's the story of a baby boy whose mother goes through all of the stages with him - babyhood, toddlerhood, teenage-hood, and adulthood.  Through all of the crazy stages, the messes, the attitude, the realness she always goes in at night when he's sleeping and rocks him and sings the same song to him.  When he grows up and moves away, there relationship changes and the ending is heartfelt.  This book is great for mothers with babies all the way through adulthood.
