Talk about relatable: We've all lost (and panicked over) something we treasure. In this hilarious book, a whimsically illustrated childish creature is enjoying its favorite book while lounging in bed . . .when the book goes missing! It can't be found anywhere.

The searcher is overwhelmed with emotions: sorrow and fear. And then imagination takes over. Could a bear have eaten the book? How about a dino . . .or a rhino? The search is resumed, in many unlikely spots. And then--wouldn't you know?--the book is discovered, the little creature declares its love for it, and finally enjoys peace and then slumber.

Children and parents alike may well find MAYBE A BEAR ATE IT! to be their own favorite book, so be careful not to lose it! Highly recommended.
