MY BIG PLAYBOOK: CHRISTMAS is a fun board book of basics designed around the holiday theme. The book includes a page of counting, colors, shapes, and opposites with felt flaps found throughout.

What I loved: This is a simple book with a lot of great information for babies and young toddlers. They can learn about colors, shapes, and counting to five while they enjoy the Christmas designs and imagery. The colorful pages have a lot of fun details to explore. Each object is labeled throughout to help with early word recognition, and the grouping of items works well.

The holiday theme is present throughout with a slant towards holiday colors and winter-themed items. It is non-religious, which works well with this simple concept.

What left me wanting more: As a small thing, some of the later pages did not have the cohesive themes of the earlier ones, and the mirror was randomly on the "Nature" page without any text as if it were an afterthought.

Final verdict: MY BIG PLAYBOOK: CHRISTMAS is a delightful holiday-themed board book for learning and exploring. Recommend for people looking for a non-religious Christmas book for infants and young toddlers.
