What I loved: This is a simple book with a lot of great information for babies and young toddlers. They can learn about colors, shapes, and counting to five while they enjoy the Christmas designs and imagery. The colorful pages have a lot of fun details to explore. Each object is labeled throughout to help with early word recognition, and the grouping of items works well.

The holiday theme is present throughout with a slant towards holiday colors and winter-themed items. It is non-religious, which works well with this simple concept.

What left me wanting more: As a small thing, some of the later pages did not have the cohesive themes of the earlier ones, and the mirror was randomly on the "Nature" page without any text as if it were an afterthought.
