What is it like to have a pet? This book goes through typical family pets, describing each alongside beautifully-wrought pop-up illustrations. It features unique pop-ups besides the typical style, showing movements and play of the rabbits, hamsters, and fish. I do recommend it for children older than 3, as this book received it's first torn pop-up within minutes of the first read, but for older children (5 and up) it is a gorgeous and fun book.
