Snarly McBummerpants is determined to make the world a sad place so he sends out his Mopey Smoke to bring gloom to everyone they cross. But have no fear because the Rocket Puppies are here. They zip and zoom, but Snarly McBummerpants isn't going to go down easy. Can he withstand the cuteness of the tiniest puppy or will he be forever changed?

Who needs superheroes when you can have adorable puppies save you? ROCKET PUPPIES is an eccentric children's book with humor built into each scene. The illustrations are a water color style with soft lines. I love how adorable they are and how the tiniest puppy makes the biggest impact on Snarly McBummerpants. This was such a fun book to read to my daughter and it made her laugh with each page. Snarly McBummerpants honestly reminds me of Gru from Despicable Me and it added an additional humor factor for me.


Final Verdict: I would recommend this to children aged four and older who are fans of superheroes, puppies, and humor. It's also great for people who need a pick-me-up to make them smile and for those who like out-of-the box ideas.
