Why Violet is purple?

On the first day of school, she saw different kids.

There are blue, red and yellow. Shes the only one whos purple.

Her mom is red and her dad is blue.

So why is she not blue or red?

Then Violet went to school.

She saw so many kids with different kind of colours.

After when she hungout with her classmate her dad called for her, Lets go!

Her classmate said.

Who is he?

 Violet said Hes my dad

If your dad is blue so why not you are blue?

Why are you purple?

Everybodys parents are red or blue and they are blue or red too. Why not you?

Violet was quiet all the way home. She was thinking about what the girl said.

She feels bad because everybodys asking about her colour.

She doesnt know what to say.

Shes confused.

Shes worrying all over again about her skin colour.

When she got home, she went to her room. Her mom said Come down. Her mom was waiting for her in the kitchen.

Then violet come down. Her mom said, How was your day? Did you make any friend? Violet was quiet. She

 Didnt say anything. Then the tears stated to stream from Violets eyes.  

Violet is an exciting and lovely book.

I like this book because when I heard the name, it sounds like a good story. Since Violet means purple.

When I read this book, its about colours. I like the drawings. Everybody should read this book because some of the kids parents have different skin colours, like a dad whos white and mom whos black. So everyone should read this book.
