Review Detail

This is an absolutely lovely little book. It feels like a pretty, magical fairy-tale from start to finish. There's even a unicorn! I think kids who enjoy castles, princesses, and fairy tales will love it. As soon as I opened the book, my daughter (who is a toddler) instantly rushed over, saying "Ooh, pretty!" and made me read through the book multiple times while she exclaimed over the pop-ups and enjoyed finding the kitten hiding on each page. A couple of the pop-ups are a bit delicate when you first open them, and one of them stuck and ripped just a little bit, so I'd recommend carefully opening each page and checking to see that the pop-up is working on your first read-through. After that, we had no difficulty.
