This book is perfect for Basketball Lovers! Maxwell has an elaborate dream of visiting Basketball Town. There he practices hard and plays an intense match. The illustrations are bright and bubbly lending itself well to the idea of a light-hearted dream world full of basketball. The book has many terms that are fun for basketball lovers but may be difficult for more casual readers. I like that the back of the book describes the slang used to make it less confusing for those new to the terms. I liked that the illustrations included boys and girls making it a more inclusive book. Overall, this is a fun read great for kids who are interested in basketball.
