The first pages introduce Bumblebee to young readers, then takes a look at his new mission, since the Transformers War has ended. Where he is now, what his task is, and what his attitude is toward this extremely important mission.

Even though readers get a brief introduction to Bumblebee, the story works best for those who already have an idea who Bumblebee is.
The family, lifestyle, and goals around the secret mission are explained as well as the negative attitude Bumblebee first has concerning his position. The book end on a positive note, fitting in well with this Transformers' personality.

The text is printed in a larger font and features longer sentences, simple chapters and high-interest vocabulary words.
The graphics are taken from scenes straight from the newer television show and pair well with the story line.
