DANNY GO'S VOLCANO ADVENTURE is an engaging, interactive picture book that brings children along for an adventure into a volcano. The book introduces children to Danny Go who is planning to gather some magical ice gems from inside the active volcano. Along the way, they will help to interact with the adventure by moving the book to steer, tapping the gems to collect, and pointing to help find the best path among the rocks.

What I loved: This is a fantastically illustrated adventure with great use of full-page images, colors, and plenty of details. The interactive elements are thoughtful and varied with a few different types of actions used along the way of the adventure. Children that love participating in reading will enjoy following along with this adventure as they "help" find and transport the ice gems.

The adventure itself is entertaining with a trip climbing up the volcano, steering in a boat down a lava river, collecting the gems and opening a treasure chest, and then steering out while a dangerous beast chases! Children who enjoy action/adventure will love seeing what happens as they travel with Danny Go.
