After years of waiting for his destiny to show up, Henry Potty is finally accepted into Chickenfeet Academy, an American school for gizzards and whiches that proudly flaunts its third-rate status. Henry, equipped with his fan club, a blinding conscience and an unshakable belief that his own star-of-book-status will save the day, goes head to head with his archnemesis Lord Revolting, who has a strange affinity for garbage. Frankel weaves a tale which instead of following the Harry Potter saga religiously, cheerfully plunges readers into new territory, as we are introduced to Henrys fairy godmother, a sport where players snatch fishes out of a river, and the little red-haired girl, a member of Henrys fan club who he constantly pines for. Frankel doesnt so much break the fourth wall as she obliterates it with a barrage of Unforgivable Curses. Looking for something to tide you over until Book 7? This book is for you. Hate the Potter craze and want Rowling to die a painful, horrible death?
This book is also for you.
