Cool

This actually gets a 3.5/5 star rating from me. This was such a cool book. I liked the premise immediately and I was hooked within the first few pages by Cas's voice and his ability. I hadn't read a book about a ghost hunter...

Boring

This book was so boring. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen but nothing did. It was really underwhelming.

Perfect ending

Perfect ending to this duology. Loved the first book and loved this one too. The characters were amazing and this incorporated the perfect mix of serious and funny moments. I adored the romance and was shipping these characters SO hard. Alexandra Bracken can do no wrong imo n

Love this duology

This is the start of such a good duology. It’s SO well done. I love the romance and the overall plot. The cat-and-mouse aspect of the romance is done super well. Overall this book is just so good.

Disappointing

I'd heard such good things about this book, which often leads to disappointment because rarely do books live up to the hype for me. This book was no exception. This book started off really strong and I thought it would almost live up to the hype (meaning a 4 star...

No thank you

Animal death tw Okay I tried to read this but I only got about 40 pages through it before I decided to call it quits. The writing style was so simplistic and basic I couldn't stand it. And the main character was already getting on...

Wow

This book was amazing. Such a unique story with fantastic characters and a cool plot. I loved everyone, even the villains, and cannot wait to continue the series.

Good

This was a good book but not my favorite by JLB. I liked the story and some of the twists but still felt it was just okay overall. I’ll probably continue with the series but it’s not the best book by JLB.

Fun and cute

I listened to the audiobook of this because Anne Hathaway narrated it and I’m glad I did. This is similar to the movie but still different. It’s cute and fun but nothing incredible. Definitely for a younger crowd.

Such a good story!

I’m a sucker for a good Greek mythology retelling and this one was so good! I loved getting to see a retelling of the fates and this whole thing was done so well. The characters were great and I adored the romance. I also loved the mystery and how it...

Okay

This book was just alright. It was pretty cliche and not anything amazing. If you’re looking for an easy read, go for this.

Meh

This book was just alright. I didn’t find it to be all that interesting or engaging. I only finished it cause I was hoping it would get better but it really didn’t. I won’t be reading the sequel.

Fascinating

Neal Shusterman is such a genius. He manages to come up with the most incredibly thought-provoking stories and Scythe is no different. This book is so fascinating and truly makes you think. I always love how he writes from different perspectives so you get the full view of things, even...

Overrated

This book was so overrated. It was literally just The Hunger Games with the characters having powers (or no powers). It was so cliche and boring. Hard pass on the rest of the series.
