Judy gets a taste of her own medicine in a hilarious new episode sure to tickle your humerus (aka funny bone) and put you in a very Judy Moody mood!

She took her own temperature. With the fancy thermometer that beeped. It was not normal. It was not 98.6. Judy's temperature was 188.8! Judy's temperature was 00.0! Judy's temperature was beep-beep-beep-beep-beep. She, Judy Moody, had the temperature of an outer-space alien!

Judy Moody has a mood for every occasion, and now, she, Judy Moody, is in a medical mood! It's no secret that Judy wants to be like Elizabeth Blackwell, first woman doctor, when she grows up. So when Class 3T starts to study the Amazing Human Body, Judy can hardly wait to begin her better-than-best-ever third-grade projects: show-and-tell with something way rarer than a scab, a real-live ooey-gooey operation, and a cloning experiment that may create double trouble for Judy and her friends. RARE!

In Judy Moody's latest adventure, she suffers the Moody Monday blues and tries to fake being sick. Her mom is unconvinced, though, so off she goes to class where she learns about "Our Amazing Body." Judy must think up a project related to the human body--and she wants it to be "rare" so she thinks long and hard about it.

Meanwhile, the class goes on a field trip to the hospital emergency room. There, they learn about a program called "Paws for Healing," in which pets make patients feel better. They also learn about 911, and are introduced to the Hippocratic Oath. Judy's day is made when she gets to have a cast applied to her arm, and she can wear it home.

When Stink gets a case of tonsillitis, it's Dr. Judy to the rescue. She reads to him, takes his temperature, makes him a hospital bracelet, and lets him use her crazy straw. All that practice helps when she's ready for her Human Body project. She dresses up like the first female doctor, and does an actual operation. ..on a patient named Ima Green Zucchini. She even gets involved in a cloning experiment, which appears (temporarily) to work.

Judy gets to experience being a patient when she gets sick for real but that doesn't make her "patient." This only adds to the fun, giving her many fans yet another excellent adventure to enjoy, full of humor, friendship, and even a little bit of painless knowledge.
