What a beautiful book! New author Masha D'yans did not only dazzle my 3-year-old with her first picture book, but she did so to me as well! Ruby goes on a make-believe adventure outside with her dog, Rocket, and meets some obstacles and friends along the way. The illustrations are simply gorgeous. I (wait, my daughter) loved the sparkles and the unique, moving pictures as Ruby makes her way through a winter wonderland. My daughter and I have been looking forward to reading this book and twirling and sliding and even dressing the characters inside of it each day since its arrival. I can't wait for Masha's next book!
