In Santa Mouse Finds a Furry Friend, Santa Claus, and Santa Mouse are on a mission to deliver toys to children when they hear a kitten. Will they stop to save the kitten? Or is there not enough time to do this and complete their mission?

What I Liked: I was surprised that I wasn’t already familiar with Santa Mouse and am happy to have encountered him. I can’t wait to get the other books to learn more about his adventures, especially his origin story. While there are other books about Santa Mouse, I wouldn’t fret if you haven’t read them; this is a great standalone book.

This book was cute and sweet, and I loved the art style which made scenes come to life. I enjoyed the humor that came naturally from a mouse saving a kitten. I appreciate how the author points this irony out at the end of the book through a comment that Santa Claus makes.

Final Verdict: Santa Mouse Finds a Furry Friend is a great Christmas story showing how kindness goes a long way and the importance of friendship and compassion throughout the holidays. Children will love hearing about another adventure that Santa Mouse is going on and seeing how things all play out for everyone.
