Clark Kent is trying to be an ordinary thirteen-year-old boy but he has a very extraordinary pastime. He loves saving people. At school, Clark finds himself losing control of his powers every time he's around his friend Lana. He tends to do things like float... which isn't too good for keeping his secret.

At home, Clark is also forced to do chores without using his powers. His parents are afraid he'll be seen. He's seems so normal at these times, but his true calling is to save the day. When something starts making things disappear, it's up to Superman to save the day. Especially when Lana is put in danger.

SUPERMAN OF SMALLVILLE is a fun, cutesy take on what Superman's childhood could've been like. I love how we see our favorite people in this graphic novel like Lana Lang and Lex Luthor. I really like that they weren't left out. I also love how Lex Luthor's curiosity for the unknown aliens out there is portrayed.

Final Verdict: I recommend this to fans of the DC universe, Superman, superheroes, and graphic novels.
